Isela, no fue mucho el tiempo que pasamos juntos, pero si lo suficiente para tener un magnífico recuerdo tuyo, siempre te tendremos en nuestra memoria, fue muy agradable tu compañia.

My heart and prayers go out to the Sanchez family during this difficult time. I only knew Isela briefly, but I recall two things: her strong resemblance to her cousin Hilda-'Mama' and her beautiful personality.

I am thankful that our paths were able to cross. May God continue to bless you all. 

Isela, I worked with you only for the last few months, but your radiant smile brought joy to my team. I miss your infectious laughter that graced the hallways; it is difficult looking into the office next to mine and not seeing you there. Knowing you as a friend and colleague has enriched our lives.

On your last day at work, we had such a blast with our group and you kidded me all the way to the end by wanting to have the last word on an email. Unfortunately that was the last word we shared.

You are truly missed.

I can't believe you're really gone from this world. You were such an amazing soul, and taken from us too soon. I can't begin to say how much I will miss you, how much I loved you, and what a great influence you were in my life. I'm so glad we became friends by being accidental roommates. 

Your strength and determination inspired me, and challenged me to bring my life to a higher level and to fight for the best.

My goodness girlie, I miss you! I can't believe you're not going to be at my wedding! I'll set a special place for you anyway (near the dancefloor of course!), as I truly believe you'll be there in spirit, dancing the night away to all the salsa and reggaton I'll request the DJ to play in memory of you.

Prayers to your family during this time. May your spirit comfort them, comfort all of us, as we try to cope with the suddeness of your passing.

I love you girlie and will never, ever forget you, or that gorgeous smile.

You truly were AMAZING!

Isela was a reflection of GOD’s beauty radiating inside and out.  She was a beautiful, loving and intelligent friend from High School.  She always gave you an encouraging word when you were down or a smile that instantly brightened up your day.  The last time I saw Isela was in Merced at Sears and it was like old times.  I ended moving from San Jose, CA to Oklahoma and I lost touch with Isela once again.  I often tried to find my contact information, but for the last couple of weeks Isela was heavily on my heart and now I understand why.  Our Father GOD has truly picked a crowning Jewel when he took Isela home to Heaven.

For sometime you were gone and then you came back. I'm sorry for not spending more time with you. I hope to leave this earth as beautiful and missed like you Isela. You remind us all that life is precious and that we need to respect, love and cherish each other no matter what the circumstances may be. I hope to share another burst of laughs and cheers with you again. I will miss you.

You certainly didn't waste any time connecting your angels with mine.    There was so much chatter going on amongst them, and you will know exactly what I mean by that.  I got the messages loud and clear.  There you go again even in death giving me exactly what I needed to hear to become a better person.

 

And by the way my beautiful friend, you did find the love of your live.  It was within you the whole time. God just had other BIG plans for you.  Remember, the dark haired lady needed you more.  You were being pulled towards the light  and the pull was too strong.  BTW, I did pass on your message to JB.  Saying I love you's always better, as seasons and reasons they don't matter.

 

And finally, I loved the fact that your mom knew me as the "cookie lady".  I will love you forever.

I was blessed to work with you on many things.  The one thing you always said is that you would go back to California for your mom.  I am happy you were able to spend the last months around your family.  It seems a though God had a greater plan in mind.  He surely received one of the best in you.  I will miss our lunches and the time we had together and know you are an ever present angle that touched my life long before the Lord took you home.
